JerusalemJerusalem is home to the three monotheistic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The inside of the Old City, the areas surrounding the Old City such as Mount of Olives and Mount Zion are filled with religious shrines and archeological treasures. Spend a morning on the Mount of Olives and visit the Church of the Ascension, the Pater Noster Church and the Dominus Flevit. Walk down the Palm Sunday road and visit the Gardens and Grotto of the Gethsemane. After lunch spend the afternoon on Mount Zion visiting the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Dormition Abbey and the Last Supper Room at the Cenacle.

A tour of the Old city is an experience in and of itself. Walking through one of the Gates into the City brings about a feeling of transformation. The atmosphere, the sounds and scents, and the diversity of people and faiths inside the Walls is unique and memorable experience for any visitor. Shops line all the streets and alleyways and there are many markets to explre such as spices market, the meat markets and more. Visitors can spend the entire day walking around the old city and visiting the many religious sites. Spend the morning visiting the third holiest site for Muslims in the world, the Haram Al Sharif and the Dome of the Rock. Visit the wailing wall sacred to jews from around the world. Finally, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is only one of the many Christians sites throughout the old city.

The hotel and restaurant scene is in East Jerusalem is diverse, vibrant and ready to cater to any visitor. Superior hotels such as the Ambassador and American Colony are located within walking distance of the Old City. There are also several hostels and religious guest houses in and around the Old City. Restaurants are diverse to cater to any craving. Be sure to try a nice falafel sandwich in the old city, enjoy a nice dinner or drink at one of the many restaurants throughout the city. Be sure to check local listing for any special events or festivals taking place during your visit. The annual Jerusalem Music festivals takes place every summer and there are many arts museums and cultural center to check out

 
Bethlehem
As the Birth Place of Christ, the ancient town of Bethlehem holds a connection with Christians from all around the World. While small in size and population, the Town of Bethlehem and its surroundings have lots to offer to any visitor or tourists. At the heart of the town lies the Church of the Nativity. Inside the church is the Grotto of the nativity marking the spot where Jesus was born. Since the establishment of the PA in 1994, there has been a fast amount of development and restoration work throughout the town. A large number of tourism establishments such as hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops have been opened and are ready to serve all your travel needs.

The old cores of the Bethlehem have been beautifully restored and renovated offering beautiful and enriching walking tours throughout the city. The many cultural centers in and around Bethlehem continue to hold regular musical and cultural events throughout the year. Check out the Addar Cultural and Conference Center which is located in the heart of Bethlehem at the International Center of Bethlehem Dar Annadwa. Also visit the Bethlehem Peace Center which is located right on Manger Square. The Center houses a Tourist information Center and regularly hold cultural activities. Check local listing for any events and activities during you stay or prior to your visit.

Bethlehem’s Gastronomy and dinning out options are also diverse and cater to almost any cravings. There are many restaurants and cafes throughout the town. Whether you are seeking traditional Palestinian cuisines or opt for something different there are also many restaurants serving Italian, French and Chinese cuisines. Within the surrounding of Bethlehem are the towns of Beit jala and Beit Sahour which also have lots of other options to offer


 
 
Jericho
Jericho Jericho is a green oasis in the Jordan Valley some 30 Km east of Jerusalem, 7 km west of the River Jordan, 10 Km north of the Dead Sea It lies some 260 meters below sea level making it the lowest town in earth.


The town of Jericho is the oldest continuously inhabited town in the world dating back some 10,000 years. Jericho and its surrounding areas are filled with religious, archeological, and natural treasures. Just outside Jericho, the adventurous and eco-loving travelers can enjoy a hike in Wadi Quilt and visit the Church of St. George in Kosiba. Inside Jericho, visitors can tour the ancient remains of Hisham Palace and Tel Esultan (ancient Jericho). Overlooking Jericho is the Mount of Temptation. Take the cable car ride to the summit and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Jericho and the desert from the serenity on the mount. Don’t forget, the Dead Sea is just a few Km away where you also enjoy a dip in the saltiest body of the Water in the World.


Jericho also has several hotels such as the Intercontinental Hotel and the Jericho resort Village as well as a large variety of restaurants and activities.
